Diese Falle ist als Deckel konzipiert, der auf die Le Parfait-Einmachgläser mit 100 mm Durchmesser geschraubt wird.
Ihr Design ist ästhetisch, sauber und unbegrenzt wiederverwendbar, ohne Abfall zu erzeugen. Um die Falle zu aktivieren, legen Sie einen Strohhalm auf den Boden und gießen Sie zwei Esslöffel Futter-Sirup darüber. Die Hornissen werden den Geruch wahrnehmen und in die Falle fliegen. Sobald sie drinnen sind, locken sie ihre Artgenossen an.
Wenn die Falle mit Hornissen gefüllt ist, tauchen Sie sie einfach in einen Eimer mit Wasser und lassen Sie sie 6 Stunden lang einweichen. Danach abgießen, abschrauben, entleeren und reinigen, bevor Sie erneut beginnen.

Ornetin is manufactured using an industrial injection-molding process in recyclable High Density Polyethylene (HDPE).
This material is weatherproof and UV-resistant. It washes perfectly and will last for many years of use.
Behind us are the days of 3D printing, which helped us get the concept off the ground in 2021-2022, but was less robust and more sensitive to temperature (no hot water, no dishwasher).
HDPE Ornetins are more compact and homogeneous. The surface roughness is also controlled and specially chosen to enable hornets to grip the surface with their paws, without allowing dirt to stick.
Simply run the trap under a jet of water, and it's ready for use again and again.

Installation
Put a few strands of straw at the bottom of a screw-top jar " Le Parfait Familia Wiss " of 100mm diameter. Pour two spoonfuls of syrup on it and screw the Ornetin trap.
Install the trap horizontally in your preferred location and let the first Asian hornets arrive. Once the trap is "started", hornets will call their fellows.
When the traps are full, plunge them into a bucket of water for 6 hours. Then drain, wash and re-bait.
