Material

• Ornetin is manufactured using an industrial injection molding process in recyclable high-density polyethylene (HDPE). This material is weather- and UV-resistant. It washes perfectly and will last for many years.
• The caps and nozzles are made of PETG

Maintenance

• The days of 3D printing are behind us. It allowed us to launch the concept in 2021-2022, but it was less robust and more sensitive to temperature (no hot water, no dishwasher).
• The HDPE Ornetins are more compact and uniform. Their surface roughness is also controlled and specially chosen to allow hornets to grip with their legs, without dirt sticking to it.
• Simply rinse the trap under running water to reuse it again and again.
• The UV-reflective treatment is integrated into the material and does not wear off.
