BroodMinder-W5 Hive Scale – Rugged Aluminum Beehive Weighing Scale
BroodMinder-W5 is a rugged beehive scale for continuous hive weight monitoring. Its weatherproof all-aluminum construction and single temperature-compensated 200 kg load cell deliver both durability and accuracy, so you can follow your colony's weight through the season without opening the hive.
It is best suited to static apiaries where hive leveling can be controlled. The W5 is easy to install and works much like the BroodMinder-W. For proper balance, place a 60 mm wooden bar under the opposite end of the hive, or add the Leveling Support Board accessory.
